Program Goals

Our six program goals are to:

1
Lessen the trauma

Experienced by victims and their loved ones due to traffic collisions, including coping with death, disfigurement, or long-term physical and mental impairment.

2
Promote community involvement

In addressing the impact of motor vehicle collisions and building a network of support.

3
Support a collaborative police-community approach

To enhance the promotion of highway safety.

4
Provide 24/7 support

In partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police (O.P.P.), ensuring immediate coordination and assistance to victims.

5
Educate the public and raise awareness

By participating in seminars and conferences that foster better community understanding of available victim support services.

6
Create strong, collaborative, and trauma-informed volunteers
